Sometimes, the most difficult part of any process to start one at all. Here are easy steps you can take to living more sustainably, using the 3 R’s:

1️⃣ REDUCE
Try to minimizing purchasing new items, especially items you may only use for a season (i.e super trendy clothes or cosmetics).

2️⃣ REUSE
Repurpose old items. Try to use what you have first to make what you need. So many clever DIYs out there!

3️⃣ RECYCLE (or DONATE)
When something is no longer usable or it isn’t serving you a purpose, try to place it in the best recycling stream possible. I think of this step as the “next home” for the item. Because it is important to remember that the item doesn’t disappear when it goes in a bin - it still exists as physical stuff and this stuff moves on to its next journey.
