Episode 28 - #enoughisenough

There has been a surge in violence against the Asian American community since the beginning of COVID. Recently there has been another spike in violence, specifically targeted towards elderly Asian Americans in New York and San Francisco Chinatowns.

As members of the Asian American community this topic hits close to hearts for both Evonne and I. In today’s episode we discuss our feelings toward the current violence and hate against Asian Americans.

This is a very real conversation as you can see how this has affected both of our mindsets. Evonne is on a path of hope and action, while I have been plagued by depression and is in a place of fear and anger. While I don’t enjoy being angry or sharing my anger publicly, we both felt it was important to show both sides of the coin. But don’t worry, I am working hard on myself and my attitude. I will be back to my old action-minded-self again once I get myself out of this f***ing depression.
